Sonny John Moore
Biography Early Years He was born in Highland Park, a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles, to be adopted by an insurance agent and his wife, a housewife. When he was two years old, he and his family moved to Forest Hill, a neighborhood located in San Francisco where he attended elementary school. Later when he was between 9 and 10 years old, Moore attended a local school located in the Mojave Desert, but would eventually move to Northern California. By the time he was 12, his family moved back to his birthplace northeast of Los Angeles, where he enrolled in a private academy school specializing in the arts. He later had to attend home classes at age 14 because of bullying at his school. In 2004 his life changed radically when he learned that he was adopted, which caused him to drop out of high school at age 16 and was contacted by Matt Good to be a rhythm guitarist for a hearing from From First to Last.
