Biography

Early Years

He was born in Highland Park, a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles, to be adopted by an insurance agent and his wife, a housewife. When he was two years old, he and his family moved to Forest Hill, a neighborhood located in San Francisco where he attended elementary school. Later when he was between 9 and 10 years old, Moore attended a local school located in the Mojave Desert, but would eventually move to Northern California. By the time he was 12, his family moved back to his birthplace northeast of Los Angeles, where he enrolled in a private academy school specializing in the arts. He later had to attend home classes at age 14 because of bullying at his school. In 2004 his life changed radically when he learned that he was adopted, which caused him to drop out of high school at age 16 and was contacted by Matt Good to be a rhythm guitarist for a hearing from From First to Last. At that time he became skate-punk, listened to The Dickies and The Subhumans.

Musical career 

Sonny John Moore (Los Angeles, California, January 15, 1988), better known by his stage name Skrillex, is a DJ, singer, American producer of electronic music of the genres dubstep, metalstep and electro house, exvocalista and guitarist Of his first pop-punk band atRisk between 2001 to 20032 and current vocalist of the band of post-hardcore and metalcore From First to Last.

As a producer, the implementation of Ableton Live stands out. In November 2011, Skrillex was nominated for five categories which are Grammy Awards, winning three, best remix for "Cinema" by Benny Benassi, best dance recording for "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" and best album. In 2014, he premiered his debut album Recess, and is currently ranked # 9 in the survey by DJmag magazine .

He is credited with the fact that dubstep music has become very popular in recent years,  and he worked in a duet with Diplo, called Jack Ü, and together they collaborated with Kiesza, Aluna George, Kai and Bunji Garlin. Skrillex was also the creator of the record label called OWSLA and is currently working on his old band From First To Last

My opinion 

He is one of the best Dj's in the world, his songs fill with joy to the people who like this genre, ah made many collaborations for good causes, African children, children of orphanages, and nursing homes
